I am a UK-based multidisciplinary artist with a deep interest in henna art. My focus is creating work that resonates with others, and my experiences as a South Asian hijabi often bleed into my work. Themes of culture, childhood and community are essential to my creative projects, as they help me connect with my audience.

In my time creating concepts and photoshoots I have developed a passion for directing and producing. Through my extensive experience in the creative industry, I honed my skills in the roles of Creative Director and Creative Producer. My keen eye for detail, effective communication, and focus on creating a healthy set environment allow me to effectively stand in these roles. I have had the privilege of joining forces with names such as V&A East, DAZED, Tate Collective, and Kazna Asker. My passion for henna has led me to become part of a collective of henna artists, Huq That. We work with different brands, festivals, and community events regularly, which has given me experience with a range of clients. My henna work has garnered a strong following online, leading me to successfully sell prints of my henna designs.

I am passionate about creating and supporting projects and community initiatives for social change. In the future, I would like to be part of more social initiatives, reflect the diversity of British culture in my work, and bring the appreciation of cultural art to the masses.
